R. Zebulon Law, Esq., LL.M, CPA

R. Zebulon (“Zeb”) Law specializes in estate planning for high net worth individuals. Zeb earned his bachelors’ degree (summa cum laude) from Long Island University, C.W. Post College in 1985. He then went on to receive his J.D. from The American University, Washington College of Law in 1988, and an LL.M. degree (in Taxation) from Georgetown University. Zeb has been practicing law in Orange County since 1993.
Zeb is a licensed certified public accountant (although please note the firm does not undertake any auditing matters). Zeb has worked with numerous high net worth clients (handling total assets in the billions of dollars) throughout his career. In addition, he has served on several state bar committees and has testified as an expert witness in a number of cases involving contested trusts.
Zeb has been teaching as an adjunct tax and estate planning professor for over 11 years. He will be teaching a graduate (and post-graduate) course in estate planning for Chapman University School of Law in Orange, CA this coming spring semester. Nathan R. Loftin, Esq.

Nathan R. Loftin, Esq. graduated from the University of Utah in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology. Nate went on to receive a J.D. from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, CA. He has worked for Zeb Law since the fall of 2003 and specializes in estate planning, business planning, trust administration, and is the lead attorney on several probate cases. In addition, Nate has assisted Zeb in researching and drafting study materials for the National Business Institute’s legal seminar.
While pursuing his undergraduate studies, Nate attended the Peace Officer Standards and Training Academy in Salt Lake City, and became a certified peace officer. Also during his time in Utah, Nate worked full time as a correctional habilitative specialist in the mental health unit at the Utah State Prison.

Bryan K. Johnson, Esq., M.B.T

Bryan K. Johnson, Esq. graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, CA in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness. He earned his J.D. with an Emphasis in Tax Law from Chapman University School of Law in Orange, CA. After law school, he attended the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, earning a Master of Business Taxation in 2007. After graduating from USC, Bryan spent one year working on corporate litigation cases in Los Angeles, CA. He then spent the following year as In-House counsel for an engineering company in Fullerton, CA. Prior to joining our firm, Bryan owned and operated his own law practice, focusing on tax law and estate planning.
During law school, Bryan was a judicial extern for the Honorable James N. Barr of the United States Bankruptcy Court in Santa Ana, CA and the Honorable James J. Di Cesare at the Orange County Superior Court in Westminster, CA. Additionally, Bryan was an extern for the Economic Crimes Unit at the Orange County District Attorney and served in the Chapman University School of Law Tax Law Clinic, which assisted low income taxpayers with their tax controversies.

Alexis W. White, Esq.

Alexis W. White, Esq. earned her Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas where she minored in American Sign Language in 1996. She earned her J.D. with a concentration in Taxation from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California where she graduated with distinction in 2004.
During law school, she completed externship training at the California State Board of Equalization in their Appeals Department. She also clerked for the Honorable Justice Fred K. Morrison, Third District Court of Appeal during law school. Since graduating from McGeorge, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Grant Thornton LLP, and Mito Law PC before joining R. Zebulon Law, APC.
Alexis is a member of the State Bar of California. Her tax experience includes state audit appeals for income tax, property tax, and sales and use tax. She has settled state tax claims in almost all 50 states, totaling millions of dollars for various types of companies including large, sub-prime lenders. Her federal tax experience includes defending companies and individuals against IRS audits.
Alexis has drafted state and federal tax appeal memoranda along with oral negotiations with various taxing authorities including the Franchise Tax Board and the IRS. Additionally, she has participated in speaking engagements around Orange County focusing on Estate Planning matters.
Mrs. White was born and raised in St. Helena, California in the heart of Napa Valley. Her family owns Kestral Vineyard in St. Helena where they grow Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Alexis now lives in Orange County with her husband and two children.
